Rules of Appellate Procedure

URAP 005. Discretionary appeals from interlocutory orders. Amend. The amendment states that petitions in criminal and juvenile delinquency cases shall be served on the Office of the Utah Attorney General.
URAP 023B. Motion to remand for findings necessary to determination of ineffective assistance of counsel claim. Amend. The amendment calculates the response time from the date of service and not the date of filing.
URAP 029. Oral argument. Amend. The amendments clarify the standards for continuing oral argument at the request of a party.

Rules of Juvenile Procedure

URJP 03. Style of pleadings and forms. Amend. Makes technical amendments.
URJP 25A. Withdrawal of plea. New. Establishes standards and procedures for withdrawal of a plea in juvenile court.
URJP 36. Cases certified from the district court. Amend. Requires the party raising the issue of support, custody or parent time to inform the court and parties of any orders from any other court. Requires that a juvenile court order be filed by the prevailing party in any related district court case and contain the captions of both courts.

CJA 03-0404. Public information program. Amend. Clarifies the purpose of the public information program.
CJA 04-0202.03. Records access. Amend. Resolve a conflict with URCP 107(a).
CJA 04-0202.08 Fees for records, information, and services. Amend. Adjusts the fees for Xchange to include downloading documents. Adds a per-use fee for those who do not subscribe. Waiver of most Xchange fees for the press.
CJA 04-0408.01. Responsibility for administration of trial courts. Amend. Designate Manti as a state court operation rather than by contract with the county.
CJA 04-0701. Failure to appear. Amend. Clarify that the bail increase applies to each case rather than to each charge in the case.
