NOMINEES ANNOUNCED FOR RICH COUNTY JUSTICE COURT VACANCY

Randolph, UT—The Rich County Nominating Commission has selected four nominees for an upcoming vacancy in the Rich County Justice Court. The position will replace Judge Ross McKinnon, who will retire effective Jan. 1, 2017.

Following are the nominees followed by place of employment and residence:
• Honorable Trevor Layne Cook, J.D., Nibley City Justice Court Judge, Corporate Compliance Officer at Bear River Mental Health Services and Secretary at South Cache Livestock, resident of Nibley
• Honorable Terry K. Moore, Smithfield and Wellsville City Justice Court Judge, resident of Smithfield
• Wayne Seth Weston., Plant Foreman at Exxonmobil, resident of Laketown
A comment period will be held through Nov. 14, 2016, before a final candidate is selected by the Rich County Commission Chair, who has 30 days to make an appointment. The appointment is subject to ratification by the Rich County Commission. The Utah Judicial Council must then certify the appointment.
