Judge Tasha Williams was appointed to the Second District Juvenile Court in September 2020 by Governor Gary R. Herbert. She serves Davis, Weber, and Morgan counties. Judge Williams earned a Bachelor of Science in Political Science and Communication from Southern Utah University in 2005 and her Juris Doctor Degree from the University Of Utah S.J. Quinney College Of Law in 2008. She worked in private practice as a criminal defense attorney before working as a juvenile public defender at Utah Juvenile Defender Attorneys. Before her appointment, Judge Williams was also a member of the Commission on Criminal and Juvenile Justice and was awarded the Youth Advocate of the Year award by the Utah Board of Juvenile Justice in 2016.11/20
