Appellate Court Briefs

The Supreme Court and Court of Appeal have electronic versions of appellate briefs from about 2008 to current. To request PDF copies of briefs, please contact the appellate clerks’ office or email courtofappeals@utcourts.gov or supremecourt@utcourts.gov and specify the appellate case number and the briefs needed.

The Utah State Law Library retains physical copies of all Supreme Court and Court of Appeals public briefs for closed cases. For older closed appellate cases please contact the Utah State Law Library.
