Rule 6-201. Distribution of trust funds.

Intent:
To establish a procedure for the distribution of funds deposited in a court trust account.
Applicability:
This rule applies to the District Courts.
Statement of the Rule:
(1) When an order of distribution is presented to the District Court for payment of funds deposited with the court in an interest bearing account, as ordered by the court, the order shall include the social security number of the recipient if an individual or the federal tax identification number if a business entity.
(2) Interest earned will be distributed based upon a percentage of the principal amount allocated to each recipient named in the order.
