Intent:
To provide for the just and speedy resolution of post-conviction petitions in capital cases.
Applicability:
This rule applies to the Supreme Court, District Court, and Administrative Office.
Statement of the rule:
Courts must expedite the procedures, hearings, and disposition of post-conviction petitions in capital cases above all other cases, except the trial and appeal of capital felonies.
