The proposed amendments clarify the role of non-court staff in justice court operations and codify the Judicial Council\u2019s decision to restrict access to the courts\u2019 case management system when certification requirements have not been met.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/legacy.utcourts.gov\/utc\/rules-comment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/31\/2024\/10\/4-401-rule-draft-NEW-10-28-24.pdf\">CJA04-401<\/a>. <b>Proceedings conducted by remote transmission.\u00a0<\/b>New. The proposed rule requires that remote court proceedings be conducted exclusively via a video conferencing platform approved by the Judicial Council. The Council may grant exceptions.<\/p>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/legacy.utcourts.gov\/utc\/rules-comment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/31\/2024\/10\/1-205-rule-draft-10-28-24-includes-changes-approved-as-final.pdf\">CJA01.205<\/a>. <b>Standing and ad hoc committees.\u00a0<\/b>Amend.<\/div>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/legacy.utcourts.gov\/utc\/rules-comment\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/31\/2024\/10\/3-114-rule-draft-REPEAL-10-28-24.pdf\">CJA03-114<\/a>. <b>Judicial outreach.<\/b> Repeal. The proposed amendments: 1) create a Tribal Liaison Committee; 2) remove the general counsel member position from the Working Interdisciplinary Network of Guardianship Stakeholders Committee (WINGS); 3) eliminate the Pretrial Release and Supervision Committee; and 4) repeal the Judicial Outreach Committee.
