This rule is a companion to proposed\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/le.utah.gov\/~2021\/bills\/static\/SB0053.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/le.utah.gov\/~2021\/bills\/static\/SB0053.html&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1612894908534000&amp;usg=AFQjCNFJI_UpT4sW2NddzmpuhxhRoqqDBw\">Senate Bill 53<\/a>\u00a0(SB 53),\u00a0creating a new first responder position\u2014Behavioral Emergency Services Technician (\u201cBEST\u201d)\u2014and its adoption is dependent upon the passage of that bill.
