The position will replace Judge\u00a0 Lyon Hazleton who will resign at the end of December.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Following are the nominees followed by place of employment and residence:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2022 Trenton Herring, Chief Operating Officer for Blue Mountain Hospital, resident of Blanding,<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2022 Kelly Laws, previous Blanding City Councilman, resident of Blanding, and \u2022 Judge Danalee Welch-O&#8217;Donnal, Grand County Justice Court Judge, resident of Moab.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A comment period will be held through December 31, 2022. A final candidate will then be\u00a0selected by Logan Monson, the mayor of Blanding, within 30 days. The selection must then\u00a0 be certified by the Utah Judicial Council.
