The position will replace Judge Lyon Hazleton who will resign in December.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">To be considered for a justice court judgeship in San Juan County, candidates must be at least 25\u00a0years of age, a citizen of the United States, a Utah resident for at least three years, and have earned a high school diploma or GED. In addition, candidates must be a resident of San Juan County or\u00a0an adjacent county for at least six months immediately preceding appointment.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Information on judicial retention and performance evaluation is posted on the Utah State Court\u2019s\u00a0website at <a href=\"http:\/\/legacy.utcourts.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/legacy.utcourts.gov&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1666373494438000&amp;usg=AOvVaw18Cz-dodtkSJ9zDHdq3_qh\">legacy.utcourts.gov<\/a> under employment opportunities.
