{"id":784,"date":"2022-08-10T19:21:10","date_gmt":"2022-08-10T19:21:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.utcourts.gov\/utc\/news\/?p=784"},"modified":"2022-08-10T19:21:10","modified_gmt":"2022-08-10T19:21:10","slug":"nominees-announced-for-the-draper-justice-court-vacancy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/legacy.utcourts.gov\/utc\/news\/2022\/08\/10\/nominees-announced-for-the-draper-justice-court-vacancy\/","title":{"rendered":"NOMINEES ANNOUNCED FOR THE DRAPER JUSTICE COURT VACANCY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Draper, UT\u2014<\/b>The Salt Lake County Nominating Commission has selected five nominees for a judicial vacancy\u00a0that will serve Draper, Utah.\u00a0The position will replace Judge Daniel Bertch who will resign his position in December.<\/p>\n<p>Following are the nominees followed by place of employment and residence:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Judge Michael Boehm, J.D., Judge of South Jordan City Justice Court, resident of South Jordan,<\/li>\n<li>Matthew Brass, J.D., attorney at law, resident of Farmington,<\/li>\n<li>Kimberly Crandall, J.D., attorney at law, resident of Riverton,<\/li>\n<li>Lisa Garner, J.D., attorney at law, resident of Cottonwood Heights, and<\/li>\n<li>Judge George Vo-Duc, J.D., Judge of Midvale City Justice Court, resident of Bountiful.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>A comment period will be held through August 20, 2022.\u00a0A final candidate will then be selected by the\u00a0mayor of Draper, Troy K. Walker, within 30 days.
