The position will replace Judge Roy Brown who will retire in\u00a0December.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">To be considered for a justice court judgeship in Wayne County, candidates must be at least 25\u00a0years of age, a citizen of the United States, a Utah resident for at least three years, and have earned\u00a0a high school diploma or GED. In addition, candidates must be a resident of Wayne County or an\u00a0adjacent county for at least six months immediately preceding appointment.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Information on judicial retention and performance evaluation is posted on the Utah StateCourt\u2019s\u00a0website at <a href=\"http:\/\/legacy.utcourts.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/legacy.utcourts.gov&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1654992642458000&amp;usg=AOvVaw3Wb1el3DfuFiz3P4c-K0gE\">legacy.utcourts.gov<\/a> under employment opportunities.
