The position will replace Judge Stevan Ridge\u00a0who will retire in June.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Following are the nominees followed by place of employment and residence:<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2022 Cherylyn Egner, J.D., attorney at law, resident of Lehi,<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2022 Michael Hinckley, J.D., attorney at law, resident of Saratoga Springs,<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2022 John Jacobs, J.D., attorney at law, resident of Alpine, and<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">\u2022 Richard Kennerley, J.D., attorney at law, resident of Orem.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A comment period will be held through June 5, 2022. A final candidate will then be selected by\u00a0the Utah County Commission within 30 days. The selection must then be certified by the Utah\u00a0Judicial Council.
