The position will replace Judge Clinton Balmforth who will resign effective Jan. 2, 2017.<\/p>\n<p>Michael Boehm received a degree in business management from Brigham Young University.<br \/>\nAfter a brief period in the corporate world, he returned to law school, graduating with honors from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California. After receiving his J.D., Mr. Boehm returned to Utah where he joined the Salt Lake County District Attorney&#8217;s Office.
