The successful candidate will replace\u00a0Judge Reed Parkin when he retires next month.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Following is an alphabetical listing of the nominees followed by place of employment and city\u00a0of residence:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Craig Chambers, J.D., Attorney at Law, resident of Heber,<\/li>\n<li>Misty Hope, J.D., Attorney at Law, resident of Vineyard,<\/li>\n<li>Melanie Serassio, J.D., Attorney at Law, resident of Sandy, and<\/li>\n<li>Spencer Thomas, J.D., Attorney at Law, resident of Spanish Fork.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">A comment period will be held through November 15, 2026. Once application materials are\u00a0provided to Brenn Bybee, Orem\u2019s Chief Executive Officer, he will have 30 days to make a final\u00a0selection. His decision must then be ratified by the Orem City Council and certified by the Utah\u00a0Judicial Council.
