ACCEPTANCE OF SERVICE

If Respondent agrees to everything in the divorce papers, the easiest way to "serve" is for Respondent to sign a document called ACCEPTANCE OF SERVICE CONSENT AND WAIVER.

If you select this option, you will hand deliver or mail the papers to Respondent along with the ACCEPTANCE OF SERVICE CONSENT AND WAIVER.

Respondent must sign the Acceptance of Service in front of a notary, and return it to you. You then must file the Acceptance of Service with the court.

NOTE: if Respondent refuses to sign the ACCEPTANCE OF SERVICE CONSENT AND WAIVER, you will need to use one of the other methods of service.
