Safeguarding Driver License and SSN

The Social Security Number and Driver License Information for each party is provided to the federal government. The federal government makes it available to a limited number of individuals and agencies.

If you feel that at least one of the following applies:

there is reasonable evidence of domestic abuse,
there is reasonable evidence of child abuse,
there is reasonable evidence that disclosure if the information could be harmful to the parent or the child,

you may request that information that identifies a party only be made available with a court order. This is called "safeguarding" the information.
