Court Holidays

The Utah State Courts are closed on the following state and federal holidays.

January:

New Year's Day (Jan. 1)
Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (third Monday of January)

February:

Washington and Lincoln Day (third Monday of February)

May:

Memorial Day (last Monday of May)

June:

Juneteenth (third Monday of June)

July:

Independence Day (July 4)
Pioneer Day (July 24)

September:

Labor Day (first Monday of September)

October:

Columbus Day (second Monday of October)

November:

Veterans' Day (Nov. 11)
Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday of November)

December:

Christmas Day (Dec. 25)

If any of the holidays fall on Sunday, then the following Monday shall be the holiday.

If any of the holidays fall on Saturday, the preceding Friday shall be the holiday.
